Ingredients

  • 250 gms kaddu 3 tbsp besan 2 tbsp cornflour 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp amchur powder 2 tsp sabzi masala 1 tsp jeera 2 tbsp Coriander 1 tbsp Salt as per taste Ings for gravy 2 onion 2 tomatoes 1 beetroot 3_4 green chillies 1 tbsp gg paste 1 cup curd 2 bay leaves 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp dhania powder 1 tbsp rajma masala 1 tsp haldi 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp roasted jeera . Coriander for garnishing.

  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp amchur powder

  • 2 onion ..ings for gravy


  • 3 tomatoes


  • 1 beetroot


  • 3_4 green chillies


  • 1 tbsp gg paste


  • 2 cup curd


  • 2 bay leaves


  • 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp dhania powder


  • 1 tbsp rajma masala


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp roasted jeera


  • 2 tbsp coriander for garnishing

Directions

  • Method for koftas
  • Firstly grate kaddu and put sum salt and let it rest for 5 mins to leave water.
  • Now spring out the water completely.
  • Add all the above ings to the grated squeezed kaddu and mix well.
  • You ll get a slight soft mixture.
  • Now greese your hand and make small balls and deep fry on low flame.
  • Note. The water that you get from the grated kaddu can be used in gravy. So dont discard it..
  • Method for gravy
  • Firstly make a paste of onion tomatoez beetroot gg and green chillies..
  • Now heat oil in a heavy bottom pan n add all the dry masalas bay leaves except for roasted jeera.
  • Saute for few secs. Now add the curd and mix well.
  • cook on low flame for 3_4 mins. Now add the onion paste and cook on medium flame.
  • Keep stirring in between. Cook nicely till oil seperates.
  • Now add the water that you have got from the kaddu.
  • Adjust the gravy by adding more water accordingly.
  • Let it boil on medium flame till oil floats on top
  • Now sprinkle the roasted jeera n off the gas.
  • While serving put the koftas and serve hot with chappaties or nan..
